Hi Circle K’ers!

Welcome back to another year filled with fun, friendship, and service! I am excited to be working with all of you, our CKI members, to create an impact both on campus and in the Detroit area. This year is our fourth year, and it will be our most exciting year thus far!

We will be working with local community service organizations to help those in need, and fundraising for various groups like Kids Against Hunger. We will show our warrior pride by taking part in Homecoming events and the Warrior Games. This year the Michigan CKI District is directing a portion of its service and fundraising efforts towards Habitat for Humanity. We also have the honor of hosting the Michigan District event, Snowpia, in the winter semester. Fellow CKI’ers from all over the state of Michigan will be coming to join us in a day of service and fellowship. Our sponsoring Kiwanis, Detroit Kiwanis #1 Club, will be with us every step of the way to find more ways to get involved.

I encourage all of you, returning and new members, to join us at our service projects, socials, and meetings. Come meet new people with similar interests, and become active on campus. Build your leadership skills and come find out what makes CKI so great. It is sure to be an exciting year and I hope you will join us! Let’s go out and make a difference in our community!
